Today I'm Thankful For...

1. The gift of laughter.

2. Quaker Mini-Delights Chocolate Drizzle snacks.

3. Finding old Nancy Drew books for $2.50 each at the used book store for our collection.

4. Listening to worship songs on the way to work.

5. The joy of watching our teen girls read through their baby books.

Today I'm Thankful For...

1. Having the windows open and hearing the birds sing.

2. Two visits this week by a mallard duck husband and wife who enjoyed a lovely buffet of dropped birdseed under the birdfeeder.

3. My new job.

4. The girls pitching in so readily to help start supper and take care of the dogs before I get home.

5. Being able to pay for church camp for them both. It will be the first time either of them have been to church camp.

Today I'm Thankful For...

1. Spending some much-needed alone time with my best friend, and husband, Brad.

2. Doing my nails and feeling pretty.

3. Skirt weather is here!

4. New job opportunity to explore.

5. Companies, like GelaSkins, with awesome customer service.

Today I'm Thankful For...

1. My baby, Ashley, is 13 today!

2. God's protection and guidance in raising our daughters.

3. A wonderful, fun concert last night with our family.

4. Taking a surprise lunch (cupcake included) to Ashley for lunch at school today.

5. Learning to like my body as I get older.

Today I'm Thankful For...

1. Creativity in coming up with meals that don't involve eating out or a trip to the grocery store.

2. Bon Jovi concert tonight!

3. Taxes are done and we're getting a refund.

4. Fixing a broken toilet flapper all by myself.

5. A lovely spring day with temperatures perfect to open the windows in the house.

Today I'm Thankful For...

1. Favorite authors, like Anne Ortlund, who have discipled me from books for so many years, and whose words are an ever-faithful reminder of all God has in store for my life.

2. Having a husband who is still crazy about me after all these years.

3. Finding the grace to deal with a minor teen crisis (an overdrawn checking account) without getting upset.

4. My iPhone! I'm still in love with it!

5. Being faithful in "shining my sink" every night lately even when I haven't wanted to.

Today I'm Thankful For...

1. Forcing myself to find things I'm grateful for and discovering all of the blessings I take for granted.

2. A day off from keywording photographs for our business.

3. Paying off more debt today.

4. Old black and white movies - I watched Mrs. Miniver yesterday.

5. Snuggling close in bed to the person I love most in this world.
